Everyone is invited to our spectacular Red, White, & Blue America's 250th Birthday Celebration!
Free admission. Open to the public.
We’re celebrating America's 250th Birthday on July 2, at the Fort Meade Parade Field. There will be a DJ, a wide variety of food, beverage, and novelty vendors. Fireworks display begins at 9:30 p.m.
Free Kids Bounce House (4-8 p.m.). Recommended for ages 2-14. Age limits vary by attraction. Please leave all pets at home! Grills, sparklers, and glass containers are strictly prohibited.
Gate information:
Non-DoD card holders must use Reece Gate, beginning at 4 p.m. We encourage all DoD-card holder to use the other gates on the installation.
Rockenbach will be open for DoD Card Holders from 5:30 a.m.-end of event (~11:59 p.m.)
Mapes/175 will be open from 4 p.m.-end of event
Mapes/32 will be open from 5:30 a.m.-end of event
We encourage all Fort Meade Residence who live on the North side of post to park in the parking lots north of Mapes.
The Reece Crossing parking lot is for Reece Crossing residents.
