Come meet Mary Tillar, Assistant Superintendent, and her Directors of Special Education.
This listening tour is for families with students attending or will attend AACPS, and will need or currently hold an IEP/504 plan. Ms. Mary Tillar, currently holds the position of Asst. Superintendent for Advanced Studies & Programs, but will be transitioning back to her roots serving as Assistant Superintendent for Specialized Instruction and Early Intervention Services as of June 2024. She is looking to hear from families about their experiences navigating the special education process within AACPS, as part of the school systems initiative to establish a family friendly holistic approach to servicing special needs families.
