Open to spouses of all Service Members, Retirees, and DoD Civilians. Series is offered free of charge!

Series Schedule

  • May 2,  9 a.m.-3 p.m. - Military Spouse Resiliency and Financial Planning
    Topics of discussion will include: Self-care, Stress Management, Goal Setting, Dress for Success, Credit Repair, and Wealth Building - Savings, Investment, and Retirement.
  • May 9,  9 a.m.-3 p.m. - Military Spouse Education Assistance
    Topics of discussion will include: School Transition and Resilience, the College Application Process, Scholarships, Grants, and Loans—AER, the Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MYCAA), the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and Certification and Training Programs.
  • May 16, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. - Military Spouse Employment
    Topics of discussion will include: Work Transition and Resilience, 10 Steps to a Federal Job, and Program S, Civilian Resume Writing, to include the Value of Volunteering and the Use of Social Media, and Interview Skills.
  • May 23,  10 a.m.-2 p.m. - Military Spouse Recruitment - Leveraging Military Spouse Talent
    Community Resources will be a topic of discussion. Participants will be able to engage in discussion with industry representatives during an Employer Panel and Networking Event. Participants will also be able speak directly with spouses who have had employment/career success during a Spouse Panel.
