Virtual Earth Day 5K Run - Burba Park

  • The route will be available to run from Apr. 17 - 25, 2021.
  • Times need to be submitted to fortmeadesports@gmail.com no later than Apr. 28. Times will be posted by Apr. 30.

Virtual Earth Day 5K Run Results (PDF)

Information for the run:

  • There will be no registration, no participation medals, and no t-shirts for participants.
  • Runners will be able to use the map provided below to run our course. 
  • The Fitness Center will be posting the Run Series run route signs around the course.
  • Run or walk on your own or with a group (while physically distancing).

  • Report your timed results, please have a device to track your time (GPS watch that’s great - if not you can use any phone-based run tracking app (MapMyRun, Strava, etc.)

  • Safety Reminders: Wear light colors or reflective clothing when running/walking. Remember to stay out of the road and run/walk on the shoulder or sidewalk.

Directions
It will start right in front of the Burba Lake Cottage. Enter the installation at Reece Road and Route 175. Once through the gate immediately take first left onto Ernie Pyle Street. Take a right onto Llewellyn Avenue. Take a left onto McKay. Parking will be on the left.
