Pre-Deployment Brief: Open to Active Duty members scheduled to deploy within the next 2 months. Includes Personal and Family readiness preparations focusing on Planning, Organization, Communication and Execution.
Open to Active Duty members scheduled to deploy within the next 2 months. Spouses and children are welcome to attend. Registration is required.
SOLDIER AND FAMILY READINESS TRAINING (6 modules) - Open to Commanders, Command Teams, and any individuals assigned Soldier and Family Readiness Group duties. Registration is required.
SFRG Foundations: Outlines DoD definition of Family Readiness; covers how the SFRG can assist commanders in meeting their mission of executing a unit SFRG program.
SFRG Command Team Training: Delineates roles & responsibilities of the Command Team regarding leveraging the SFRG to execute the Family Readiness mission.
SFRG Command Family Readiness Representative (CFRR) Training: Course designed to assist with the operational, logistical and administrative aspects of the SFRG for the commander’s direct representative, the Command Family Readiness Representative.
SFRG Informal Funds Custodian Training: Instructs how to keep track of SFRG funds, how to use them and the rules of fundraising. Includes practical tools for accounting.
SFRG Assistant Training: Course covers rules & regulations, methods of communication, volunteer management, and executing the commander’s vision for the SFRG program.
SFRG Key Contact Training: Trains Key Contacts on their role and responsibilities and how to handle crisis phone calls. Suggested training for all SFRG Leaders.
