Safety Training Class - $5 per person
The Automotive Skills Center requires that all patrons utilizing the facility and equipment attend the 30-minute safety and orientation class prior to their first time using the facility. The safety class is also required for all patrons assisting users including children ages 13-17.
Please show up 15 minutes before the scheduled safety classes to register and pay the $5 class fees. Classes fill up quickly so if you are late, you will be directed to come to a future safety class.
Classes are held every Friday at 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Required Safety Class
All customers must complete a safety class before using the shop. This class covers:
- Proper tool and equipment use
- Shop rules and expectations
- Safe handling of materials
After completion, you may receive a qualification card that can be used at other Automotive Skills locations.
